After studying multiple blockchains (Hyperledger Sawtooth, IOTA, Ethereum, EOSIO) in a local environment at the LEAT laboratory, we are moving forward with the SIM project using cloud computing with TAS Group partnership (PDF of the press release here). TAS Group specializes in software solutions for electronic money, payment systems, capital markets, and enterprise resource planning.
Using the SIM vehicle accident use case, me and Edouard Kilimou (LEAT intern) are deploying the studied blockchain platforms onto TAS Group cloud: a project cloudification. More about SIM and the use case here and here.
This use case is the one selected by LEAT of Université Côte d’Azur for its Smart IoT for Mobility project led by Prof. Verdier, in partnership with Renault Software Factory and @Symag_by_BNPPPF#Innovation #cloud #CyberSecurity

Thanks to the fast responsivity of TAS Group, we are already set with the required cloud orchestration software, and we have done our first cloud blockchain deployment this week (2021-04-05).
Why TAS Group?
This will allow researchers to benefit from a network test architecture to study the behaviour of models developed in their laboratory and very realistically simulate the deployment of their applications.
TAS Group press release
The containerization of the blockchain will allow the use of micro-services to facilitate the deployment and orchestration of the architecture. The solution will also allow the adoption of agile methods based on “DevOps” principles.
